A Real Irmandade de Santa Cruz e Passos da Graça da Paróquia de Santo André e de Santa Marinha
It is a public association of the faithful, with canonical and civil legal personality, based in the premises of the now defunct Graça convent, which is governed by the General Norms for the Regulation of Associations of the Faithful, determined by the Portuguese Episcopal Conference in 1988.
The main aim of this Royal Brotherhood is to promote and intensify the cult of Our Lord Jesus Christ, under the invocation of the Lord of the Steps of Grace, and of His Blessed Virgin Mother, under the invocation of Our Lady of Solitude, essentially through the annual celebration of the Procession of the Lord of the Steps.
